There is SO much that goes into a wedding day, and it’s always hard for me to sum up all the incredible people I get to meet, the thoughtful details, the stunning scenery, and the overwhelming emotions into a paragraph or two. I can never quite find the right words to do it justice, but I guess that’s why I’m a photographer and not a writer! Mackenzie & Adam’s wedding was one of my all-time favorites for so many reasons, and I’m just going to let myself pour them out onto the page. I love the bold, bright colors of the flowers, the classic elegance of Mackenzie’s dress, the huge smile that never left her face. The way every pair of eyes I looked into were shining with emotion, often holding back tears. How the sunlight danced through the stained glass windows of the chapel and the look on Adam’s face when he first saw Mackenzie walking down the aisle. The way they radiated pure joy right after they were pronounced husband and wife. The picturesque landscape of Casa Larga Winery and the spectacular sky as the sun set behind the vineyard. The tears that streamed down Mackenzie’s father’s face as he danced with his little girl. I could go on and on, but basically, this was an incredible day and I am honored that I got to turn all these precious moments into photographs that Mackenzie & Adam will hopefully treasure forever.
