private residence, finger lakes wedding: sam + kait

Another wonderful wedding in the books! I truly cannot say enough good things about Kait & Sam; honestly if we lived in the same city I’d probably try to make them be my best friends. They are such an incredibly sweet, fun, and adorable couple and I’m honored that I got to document such a joyful celebration! They ended up switching from the larger wedding they had planned to a more intimate backyard affair at an Airbnb in the Finger Lakes, and it turned out beautifully! I never know what to expect when showing up to photograph a wedding at a private residence, and was thrilled to arrive and see the elegant tent set up, a vineyard on the property, and views of Cayuga Lake in the distance!

Their wedding day was packed with everything you could hope for and more – so many smiles, gorgeous details and décor, a dessert table worthy of a magazine cover, and even a doggie flower girl! My favorite part was probably when Kait & Sam chose to share the vows they’d written each other in private right after their first look! Cue the happy tears!!
