crispin hill finger lakes wedding: meghan + jeff

Keuka Lake is one of Meghan’s favorite places on Earth, which Jeff knew when he asked her to marry him there on the 4th of July. Even the fireworks over the water paled in comparison to the thrill that “Y-E-S” brought to them both! Since the Finger Lakes holds such a special place in their hearts, they knew they wanted to get married there and were overjoyed when they found Crispin Hill! This is one of my favorite venues in the area; you can’t beat the view of Keuka Lake from the ceremony site, and the grounds are complete with a gorgeous farmhouse for getting ready that’s full of natural light, a repurposed barn that holds the dance floor, and a connected tent lined with gorgeous wooden farmhouse tables for dinnertime and speeches.

When Meghan first told me a bit about her vision for their wedding day, I was so excited! It brought me right back to my own wedding day as she talked about designing blue watercolor stationary, and her plans for bold, bright, colorful florals. We’re kindred spirits when it comes to style, and I LOVE a bride who isn’t afraid of color! Her artistic vision turned out better than I could have imagined, and the weather even did its part – the brilliant blue sky perfectly complemented all the vivid colors they incorporated!

These two are absolute gems. Jeff’s fun-loving and playful sense of humor kept Meghan laughing throughout the day, from moments after their First Look to sneaking away from their reception to twirl her in the golden hour light! I firmly believe that the energy the bride and groom bring to the wedding day sets the tone for the entire vibe, so their high spirits were shared by all the friends and family who came to celebrate with them!
