Best of 2020: Weddings, Intimate Ceremonies, and Elopements

 Hi friends! It’s been a while! I took a temporary hiatus from this blog but am excited to get back to it, and figure when it comes to sharing my favorite 2020 wedding images, it’s better late than never! I’ll state the obvious here: it was a weird year. Everyone fought their own battles in 2020, and whether that was dealing with your wedding plans being completely upheaved, social isolation and mourning your normal day-today, job/financial woes, health problems, god forbid losing loved ones to Covid-19, or anything else you might have faced, I am so sorry. But I’m also so thankful you’re here reading this now, and hopefully you’re with me in looking forward to brighter days ahead!! I’m feeling very optimistic about the future and for the coming wedding seasons! 

While the majority of my 2020 weddings were cancelled or postponed, I still had the honor of photographing a handful of intimate weddings and elopements as we reached the late summer and fall, and for that I am so grateful! I managed to cover a pretty good amount of New York State, with weddings here in Buffalo, as well as Rochester, Finger Lakes, Ithaca, Skaneateles, and Albany. From beautifully decorated backyards to some of my favorite WNY venues like the Curtiss Hotel, The Strathallan, the George Eastman Museum, and Oak Hill, every location was stunning and a VERY welcome change of scenery after being stuck at home for so long! Each of these couples was an absolute pleasure and privilege to work with and I loved seeing their unique personalities and styles shine through each celebration! It was super tough to narrow down my favorites for this blog post, but I did my best!! 

To all of my 2020 couples, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture these memories for you. I cannot tell you how much your business meant to be in such tough times. All of my love!
