Jimbo's Club at the Point Fall Wedding Photography

Hannah & Tyler’s wedding took place at Jimbo’s Club at the Point, which is an absolutely gorgeous venue tucked away on Brant Lake in the Adirondacks. It was my first time shooting there, but I fell in love with it the moment I pulled in, and even more so as I did my usual pre-wedding exploring! From the woodsy areas to the open grassy patches to the sandy beach and incredible views of the lake, there’s so much gorgeous scenery to work with! The weather was also perfect, with blue skies and sunshine illuminating the peak foliage surrounding us! Of course, I always have my fingers crossed for the best weather possible for my clients, but knowing that Hannah has spent so much time at other people’s weddings it made me especially happy hers was so perfect! She’s a fellow wedding photographer, so obviously it was an incredible honor that she chose me to capture her day. I know from experience how difficult it is for a photographer to choose another photographer!!

I arrived to the boathouse where the ladies were getting ready to find the best atmosphere ever! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and excited! Hannah was adorable as I photographed her details, she kept gravitating towards what I was doing and said she was just so not used to being the bride and not the photographer haha! She got ready with the help of her mom and bridesmaids with views of the lake surrounding us and it could not have been more picture perfect. Once she was ready I was so excited to photograph Tyler seeing her during their First Look, and it was such a special moment. I had so much fun photographing these two and their bridal party all over the scenic property!

Clearly this wedding was gorgeous, but it was also so heartfelt and full of emotion! During their ceremony their officiant talked about how wonderful Hannah and Tyler each are as individuals, and how they’re even better together. While Hannah and Tyler beamed at each other, knowing they were moments away from officially being MARRIED, their officiant did a beautiful job telling their story. They were both students at SUNY Oneonta when a mutual friend convinced them they needed to meet (kudos to that friend on her matchmaking skills)! As they got to know each other they quickly realized how much they had in common - everything from their taste in music, to their senses of humor. They spent more and more time together and as their relationship developed they realized their similarities went even deeper than their mutual love of cats and laughing at all the same jokes (albeit those things are QUITE important), they share core values and life goals too. The people in their lives are especially important to them, and it was really special to witness this throughout their wedding day!

Hannah & Tyler are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever photographed and I can’t say enough how honored I am that they chose me to capture this celebration for them and their families and friends to remember forever! Here are some of my favorite images to give you a glimpse into their perfect day!
