Not many couples planning a Rochester wedding opt for a winter date, and days like today make it obvious why (for anyone not in the 585, snowplows are having a VERY busy day here). It's obviously a bit risky if you have your heart set on a certain type of weather, but winter weddings can be the most beautiful and I always wish there were more to photograph between the holidays and the start of spring. I was thrilled when Jennifer reached out to me a few months ago to see if I was available for her February wedding! The weather ended up being the opposite of today; it was a clear, sunny day with blue skies and the light was absolutely beautiful outside for photos.
Jennifer and Matthew said their I do’s during their intimate ceremony at the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford. Then we had a few hours before the reception began, giving us time to make a few stops for photos before heading over to Cobblestone Creek Country Club for the reception. I captured a bunch of candids of guests having fun during the cocktail hour, followed by the first dance before it was time for me to head out. With Jeff from Whirlin’ Disc as the DJ, I have no doubt that the party went on long after I said goodnight!
Thank you so much for Jennifer & Matthew for trusting me to capture this important day for you. It was such a pleasure and I wish you two nothing but the very best!!
Enjoy the photos!
