There have been some absolutely beautiful snow-filled (and freezing) days lately, and this was one of them! I still get cold when I think about this engagement session, but it was most definitely worth it! Morgan & Nick go to school in Miami (jealous!) so we squeezed their engagement session in while we were all in the Albany area over Christmas to spend the holiday with our families. I absolutely love the outfits they wore - they perfectly nailed coordinating without looking overly "matchy" and I'm always thrilled when someone wears the color red to a session, because it really makes the photos pop, especially when it's against the white snow in winter! Saratoga is one of my favorite places so I was excited that Morgan & Nick liked the idea of doing their engagement photos there! We started off their session in Saratoga Spa State Park by the Hall of Springs, and finished up on Broadway which was decked out for the holidays! Here are a handful of my favorites from their session - enjoy!
I’m so thankful that my career leads me to meet and photograph couples as wonderful as Paulina and Nick! These two are great – they’re Buffalo natives who have stuck together through various jobs, cities, and apartments, and have recently moved into a new home here in Rochester! They’re ready to spend of their lives together, and I’m so happy that I got to capture their engagement session and document this exciting time for them! They wanted a winter feel to their photos, and on a snow-free day what better way to achieve this than at a Christmas tree farm!? Stokoe Farms is located in Scottsville, and it was the perfect setting for this shoot. Here are a handful of my favorites – enjoy!
