taughannock falls state park intimate wedding: pooja + adam

Needless to say, 2020 has been weird. For most of us, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. A year of adjusting expectations, routines, social lives, budgets, and health. I didn’t expect my wedding season to go from 25 full blown large weddings, to just a handful of intimate celebrations. And my couples certainly didn’t expect to have to make drastic sacrifices when it came to the day they’d been planning and daydreaming about for years. Pooja & Adam didn’t expect to get married at Taughnannock Falls after they’d planned a destination wedding in Antigua. But the theme I’ve seen again and again is that we are resilient. We adapt and adjust. We take a step back to figure out what really matters. We make the best of things. We make sure love wins.

Pooja and Adam’s wedding day might not have looked like they originally planned, but it was still every bit as special, every bit as beautiful. Every bit as full of love. I’m so honored and thankful that I got to photograph it!
