Another incredible wedding in the books, and once again I’m left feeling so thankful that couples as wonderful as Maura & Dennis choose me to photograph such an important day in their lives! I started off the day at Maura’s parents’ home where she got ready, and it was SO sweet seeing her mom & dad absolutely beaming at their daughter throughout. Meanwhile my second photographer was hanging with Dennis at the Rochester Airport Marriott where she captured some really fantastic moments of Dennis and his crew!

Next it was ceremony time, and these two said their I dos at St. Pius X Church in Rochester. I loved capturing the stolen glances throughout, and then the huge grins on Maura & Dennis’s faces after they officially became husband + wife! Afterward we made a few stops for photos, first at High Falls and then on to the George Eastman House where Dennis & Maura had reserved the East Garden. I was so excited about these locations and all the time we had in between the ceremony and reception for photos! This was undoubtedly the hottest wedding I’ve had yet in 2019 with temperatures creeping into the 90s, but thankfully Maura & Dennis live in Florida, so they quite literally didn’t sweat it. Kudos to them and their wedding party for being troopers about the heat!

Their reception was back at the Rochester Airport Marriott, and it was an unforgettable evening for SO many reasons. The toasts were all fantastic, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room when Maura’s dad sang her a song during his speech! Seriously, cue the tears from EVERYONE! Maura & Dennis turned out to probably be the best dancers I’ve ever had in front of my camera! Their first dance was epic, and they barely left the dance floor the rest of the night (unless it was to funnel beers - yes, there was a funnel). Needless to say, it was quite the party and I could hardly pull myself away from the dance floor when it was time to say goodnight! I’m so excited to share some of my favorites with you below - enjoy!
