bristol harbour resort finger lakes wedding: M.E. + Tom
M.E. (pronounced Emmy) and Tom’s wedding day was unforgettable in every way! These two have hearts of gold and are so much fun to be around, and they’re also insanely gorgeous!! From M.E.’s stunning wedding dress, to their rings, to the flowers and ballroom décor, everything was classic and elegant. They tied the knot at one of my favorite wedding venues, Bristol Harbour Resort in the Finger Lakes.
Tom’s father officiated their ceremony and had everyone laughing as he went into the details of how M.E. and Tom met while they were both in college at UConn, where she played Lacrosse and he played baseball. M.E. was apparently skeptical at first when a friend told her she had to meet this freshman baseball player Tom, and Tom’s friends all told him that M.E. was way out of his league. Thankfully, Tom likes a challenge.
Needless to say, once they got to know each other they each realized how absolutely incredible the other person is, and here they are now, head-over-heels in love and HUSBAND AND WIFE! There were lots of happy tears and laughter throughout the ceremony, and they carried through the night, especially during some truly fantastic speeches during their reception. M.E. and Tom clearly make everyone who surrounds them feel special with their contagious happiness, warmth, and love for their friends and families. They were the life of the party as the reception turned into an epic dance party, and not even Tom's pants splitting could keep him off the dance floor!! Thankfully they were willing to sneak away from the party for a few minutes at sunset so we could take some portraits of them in the beautiful evening light and scenery of Bristol Harbour!
