Kelly and Zach met when they were both sophomores at SUNY Oswego and their Greek organizations led them to be at the same party. (Who would've known that both of these organizations would be VERY well represented on the dance floor at their wedding almost seven years later!?) They got to talking, exchanged numbers, and by winter time they had decided to make it official! From then on, they were pretty much inseparable, seizing every opportunity to spend time with each other. They graduated college together, pursued their careers together, and on the way back to visit their college friends together for an Alumni weekend, Zach made sure they would continue the rest of their lives, together. They took a detour to the Chimney Bluffs, a favorite spot from college, and Zach got down on one knee and asked Kelly to marry him. Clearly, the answer was a yes!
When their wedding day arrived these two completely melted my heart. It felt like every glance/smile/embrace they shared was the new cutest thing I'd ever seen. Most couples feel a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera (understandably!) so it helps to give them direction, but not these two! They only had eyes for each other and barely seemed to know I was there, and I rarely wanted to say anything and interrupt whatever adorable way they were looking at each other in the moment! They were constantly making each other laugh and it's obvious that they have SUCH a good time together, and it made my job even more fun than usual!
Everything took place at Shadow Lake which is a beautiful golf course and event venue located in Penfield and it's one of my favorite Rochester wedding locations! It was a perfect day in every way, so I'll let the photos tell the story of it! Enjoy!
