Belhurst Castle Finger Lakes Wedding Photography

Lindsey & Chase are MARRIED! These two tied the knot earlier this month on the beautiful back lawn of Belhurst Castle, overlooking Seneca Lake. This venue is a gem of the Finger Lakes and I absolutely love photographing weddings here! With the castle’s beautiful architecture and the lake scenery surrounding it, it doesn’t get much better! Lindsey and Chase really embraced the character of the Finger Lakes with all of it’s vineyards and wineries by including some wine-related touches in their big day which you’ll see in the photos below! Their style is classic and elegant, which was obvious from Lindsey’s GORGEOUS Bagdley Mischka wedding gown and her bridesmaid’s champagne dresses. I loved these paired with the lanterns that Lindsey had her bridesmaids hold as an alternative to bouquets - such a creative idea!

These unique touches fit perfectly with Lindsey & Chase’s personalities, they are big fans of artistic shots that are a little out of the box, and didn't want to do any photos down at the docks which is usually where Belhurst Castle couples opt to take the majority of their photos. Instead, it was really fun to take advantage of the castle’s architecture and surrounding grounds for their photos! I always love to watch the way couples interact and the dynamic between them, and it seemed that Lindsey and Chase balanced each other out perfectly. Chase is very carefree and laid-back, while Lindsey seems to be the more organized one of the pair, who is attentive to details and the little things which I think contributes to her EXTREME thoughtfulness! In fact, months ago she noticed on my Instagram that I have a collection of antique blue glass vases, so gave a few to me as a thank you at the end of the night. When I opened the gift when I got home I was completely blown away by what a sweet, personal gift it was that I teared up! After the speeches from Lindsey & Chase’s family and friends that spoke so highly of how kind and considerate these two are, I shouldn’t have been surprised! They are a fun-loving, genuine, adventurous pair who love to travel, spend time outdoors and with their loved ones. How do I keep getting so lucky with these incredible clients?!?
