browncroft neighborhood + erie canal engagement session: katherine + andy
Can I just ramble about how much I love this job for a minute? I definitely get overwhelmed and overworked at times, but then I think about how I get to meet amazing people like Katherine & Andy who are head over heels in love with each other, and I have the honor of capturing that love! I get to explore all sorts of beautiful locations in Rochester (and all over the place for that matter) and let my creative and artistic side completely take over, as I observe the way the light is falling and think about poses and compositions to perfectly showcase the people I photograph in the moment. IT’S FUN.
ESPECIALLY when I’m working with ideal clients like Katherine & Andy. They’re really sweet, constantly laughing and smiling together, have excellent style, and they’re so kind and fun to hang around with! I absolutely loved photographing them in the Browncroft neighborhood where they live (which is also one of my favorites in Rochester because it’s gorgeous). The light was lovely and we had a great time walking around the streets near their home taking advantage of all the gorgeous locations. Afterward we headed over to Schoen Place along the Erie Canal in Pittsford for the second half of their shoot! I could not possibly be looking forward to their wedding next year more! Here are a few of my favorite shots from this session - enjoy!
