I’ve said it before but I have to say it again – I have THE BEST clients! I don’t know how I get so lucky! This was the first time I got to meet Erin & Riley in person since they live in Troy, and I could not be more excited about their wedding after getting to know them better! Both of the locations from their engagement session were new to me, and I loved them both! We started off at Brown’s Wallmoosac Brewery & Taproom in Hoosick Falls, NY which is SUCH a neat spot! The brewery itself was originally a factory built in the 1850s, but now it’s a full-fledged brewing facility with a very cool industrial style taproom where we were able to do some photos! It’s also located right along the Wallmoosac River, with some lovely waterfalls with a bridge overlooking them! It was pretty hard to leave such a fantastic location but the next stop ended up being just as great! It was Peebles Island State Park in Troy, and it’s extra special to Erin & Riley because it’s where they shared their first date AND where Riley asked Erin to marry him! We returned to the exact spot on a hiking trail where all of this magic happened for some photos, and found a few other neat spots along the way before catching a fantastic sunset! This was a really fun shoot and I’m so thankful that I got to photograph these two, and that I get to again when they tie the knot next year – I can’t wait!
