bristol harbour resort wedding: jessica + nick

A few weekends ago I was back at Bristol Harbour Resort in Canandaigua for Jess + Nick’s wedding! I instantly clicked with Jessica when we first got together to discuss her wedding photography and I’ve been SO looking forward to this day ever since! It ended up being even better than I had hoped.  I arrived to a fun and relaxed getting ready environment; a bunch of close girlfriends getting fancy to celebrate one of their best friends! I always know the girls are going to look especially fantastic when I arrive to see Jessica Marie doing makeup, and the bright and colorful bouquets by Stacy K. Floral were GORGEOUS.  While I’m rambling about wedding details, I can’t not mention Jess’s Hayley Paige wedding gown – it was one of my all-time favorites, and she looked absolutely gorgeous in it!

Once Jess was all ready, her and Nick shared their first look (always one of my favorite wedding day moments!!) and then we took advantage of the beautiful scenery around the resort.  The sky had looked very ominous when I arrived, but we kept our fingers crossed that the rain would hold off and we lucked out! Aside from a few sprinkles early on it ended up being a gorgeous day until right after the outdoor ceremony was over and the guests had all made their way inside. The storm didn’t last long, and it left a rainbow across the sky! The reception was quite the party thanks to DJ Josh from Kalifornia Entertainment!

Jess and Nick are such a great couple, and they have a beautiful daughter Viv who couldn’t have been more adorable on their big day. She was a little bundle of sunshine, smiling all day and even squealing with joy, needless to say I couldn’t resist taking MANY photos of her.  So happy I got to photograph this wonderful celebration for Jess and Nick – I wish nothing but the absolute best for you two!
