Glen Sanders Mansion Wedding: Courtney + Dan

I love using images to tell love stories, and Courtney & Dan’s story is one of my favorites! These two have been together for thirteen years! They recently turned 26, which was an extra special birthday as it marked them being together for half of their lives. Not too many couples in their twenties can say that!

So, their wedding was obviously a long time coming, and it was truly a wonderful day! The forecast called for constant storms, but aside from a brief shower in the morning the weather was completely the opposite! Blue skies, sunshine, and VERY warm weather for May in the 518. Seriously, it was probably the hottest I’ve ever been while taking photos. Thank god no one takes pictures of the photographer because it would not have been pretty. Thankfully, everything but me looked AMAZING. Courtney and her bridesmaids got their hair done by the ladies at Mane Street Cutters, and Erin Muller did a fantastic job on their makeup!

Everything from getting ready through to dancing the night away (thanks to DJ Chris Johnston) took place at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, NY, which is a gorgeous venue both inside and outdoors!

Courtney, Dan, and I are connected through a mutual best friend (thanks Hannah!!!), so I wasn’t surprised upon meeting them that we clicked! It has been so much fun getting to know them (and becoming friends!) throughout this process. Court & Dan – you are two of the most genuinely kind and down to earth people I’ve ever met, and I feel so lucky that I got to capture your engagement session and wedding day for you! Your love is an inspiration and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you!
