It was another absolutely gorgeous day here in Rochester for ReneeLyn & Mike’s wedding! I loved so many things about this day, starting with Renee’s mom’s house in the morning where she got ready. With three adorable flower girls, Renee’s ten bridesmaids, a few other close friends, her mom, grandmother, the groom’s mother, etc., it was a house FULL of women and it’s just the type of environment I love for this part of wedding days. Everyone was happy and excited for the day to come, ready to celebrate!
The next stop was Immanuel Baptist Church, located right in the lovely Park Ave area (my favorite!) of Rochester. When I saw Mike at the church before the ceremony, he was SO kind, SO happy, and said “are you ready to have some fun today?!” That statement pretty much summed the day up. If I had to describe ReneeLyn and Mike in one word it would be FUN. They were both so happy, yet relaxed, enjoying every minute of their day to the fullest.
Their reception was in the Cityview Rooftop Ballroom at the Strathallan Hotel on East Avenue, which is a gorgeous location with floor-to-ceiling windows as three of the walls, giving an amazing view of Rochester (especially at sunset)! I am such a fan of this location that it’s actually where I’ll be having my wedding reception next year! I can only hope that mine lives up to ReneeLyn and Mike’s reception, which would be VERY hard to top! DJ Naps from Breakthrough Entertainment does such a great job and had the dancefloor packed all night.
I absolutely loved this wedding and these two! I’m so thankful that I got to meet ReneeLyn and Mike and capture all the joy and fun of their wedding celebration! Enjoy the photos!
