Another fantastic wedding in the books! October is such a beautiful time of year in Western New York, it might even be my favorite month to photograph weddings (when the weather cooperates)! The sunlight is never too harsh, there’s bright colors everywhere even on the grayest of days, and the temperature is never too hot! I certainly loved all of the weddings I photographed this summer, but I can’t say I miss the heat we had this year! For Erica and Justin’s big day, the temperature (and everything else) was absolutely perfect.
Erica and Justin officially became husband and wife at Wolcott Presbyterian Church, and their reception at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club followed. When I walked into each of these locations I was blown away by the stunning flower arrangements everywhere! Petal Pusher Florist in Wolcott did an amazing job!
Erica and Justin were one of the most relaxed and happy couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with! They clearly know how to have a good time, and were constantly smiling and laughing with each other and their bridal party throughout the day. Everyone had great senses of humor and it was a really fun crew to photograph! I actually woke up the morning after this wedding with a bruised nose, which I assume means at some point I got so excited about a photo that I slammed my camera into my face hard enough to leave a bruise! Honestly, for anyone whose worked with me, this probably isn’t a surprise. I get really excited when I shoot and usually cannot contain my enthusiasm when I’m excited about what I’m photographing, and I definitely had a bunch of those moments throughout Erica and Justin’s wedding day!
Enjoy a few of my favorites!
