Another wonderful wedding in the books! Fall weddings are my favorite, especially when the weather is as perfect as it was for Caitlyn and Anthony’s. We started the day off at Caitlyn’s mom’s where she and the girls got their hair and makeup done by the crew at Battisti’s Salon. Then Anthony arrived for the first look pictures in the backyard — it’s always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day to see the genuine smiles and emotions when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, and this was no exception! Afterward we headed to the nearby Roberts Wesleyan College to take advantage of the beautiful foliage. Then we made one more stop at Highland Park for some more portraits and bridal party photos before heading downtown to Spiritus Christi Church for the ceremony. When we arrived at the church it was hard to keep from tearing up while photographing Caitlyn’s dad see her for the first time – it was a particularly special moment that set the tone for the moving ceremony that followed.
After the ceremony we got a few more pictures downtown right outside the Radisson Riverside, and then it was time to head inside for the reception. The crew at the Radisson did a fantastic job – the ballroom looked absolutely stunning and everyone had a great time! I’m so glad I got to be a part of this spectacular event! Caitlyn and Anthony – you were an absolute joy to work with and I wish you nothing but the very best!
