Skyline Lodge Wedding: Larkin & David

“I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.” – Roy Croft

This sentiment was printed on Larkin & David’s table place card, with the words facing toward them at their sweetheart table during the reception at Skyline Lodge.  No matter how many weddings I shoot over the years, I’ll always remember this one.  Not only because Larkin & David are a beautiful couple who chose gorgeous details, a venue with a stunning view, and lucked out with perfect weather – but also because of the overwhelmingly joyful and loving vibe of their entire wedding day.  A thousand moments throughout the day made their appreciation for each other clear.  Like when Larkin surprised David with a custom first dance song written by his favorite band, or during their heartfelt vows sprinkled with inside jokes that hinted that these two have a ton of fun together.  I had a great time shooting the day, from their first look at each other through the end of reception where DJ Philly C had everyone on the dance floor.  There were a lot of Geneseo alumni at this event (including the bride and groom, the DJ, and myself), and not to be biased but I’m sure that having so many people who graduated from the most wonderful college in the whole world there had something to do with how perfectly the day went!

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to meet all the wonderful people my job lets me cross paths with.  Larkin & David – your love and appreciation for each other is an inspiration and I’m so happy that I got the chance to capture these photos for you.  I hope you love them!
