belhurst castle finger lakes wedding: haley + matt

I have been SOOOO EXCITED for Haley & Matt’s wedding ever since I first met them, because they are WONDERFUL. Seriously, I don’t think it’s possible for a bride & groom to be more chill than these two. The more I get to know my couples the more I love them, which is why I always try to meet them in person before the wedding if possible, and hopefully also get to photograph their engagement session! With these two it was all of the above along with a few other encounters, each making me further realize how much I love these two.

Their wedding was at Belhurst Castle, which is one of my favorite venues in the Finger Lakes! Between the historical architecture of the castle and the gorgeous surrounding scenery and lake views, there are so many excellent photo opportunities here! It’s also super convenient for everyone when everything is right at the same location like it often is at Belhurst. Haley & Matt got ready separately in two of the suites in the tower of the castle, and I wasn’t surprised at how relaxed these two were. Their ceremony was perfection, from the cool breeze, the blue skies over the water, Matt’s face as he saw Haley, their beautiful vows, and finally to the overjoyed expressions on their faces as they walked back down the aisle afterward, officially Mr. + Mrs. If you follow my blog you know that this is always one of my favorite moments of a wedding day, it’s just SO HAPPY!

These two are so fun to photograph, they have a great time with each other and it’s evident in pretty much every photo, from them popping champagne, to cracking up together during the toasts, to them being ridiculous on the dance floor - they are a damn good time. Their guests definitely showed up ready to party, and the celebration was incredible! So glad I got to photograph it! Enjoy some of my favorite shots below!
