Cobblestone Country Club Rochester Wedding Photography

Kevin & Megan met over 5 years ago when they were both working at Dixon Schwabl in Rochester! They hit it off right away, which lead to a first date, to the first “I love you,” to their first home together, to the moment Meg said “YES!”, and then finally to the beautiful summer day last month when these two became husband + wife.

But let’s rewind for a minute to the proposal, because it was pretty damn epic. To celebrate their fourth anniversary Kevin & Megan decided to check one thing off their bucket list and take a hot air balloon ride over Conesus Lake. While they waited in excitement for the balloon to inflate, Kevin got down on one knee and started to say “Every day with you is an adventure…” Cue the happy tears, the “YES!!”, and the start of an unforgettable evening that included breathtaking views, wine & cheese, family, fireworks, and a whole lot of pure joy. You can get a peek of the proposal in a shot of the guestbook below! Kevin’s sister Jenny is an incredible wedding photographer, and she captured the whole thing!

Not only did we have a wedding photographer in the bridal party, but Kevin also photographs weddings with his sister, and Megan is one of the wedding planners (along with her sister, another bridesmaid!) behind Gather Planning + Design! It was an honor being chosen to document this incredibly special day by people so immersed in the wedding world, and I absolutely wanted to do the best job possible for them! Not only because I was a liiiittle bit intimidated, but also because they are such genuinely wonderful people who deserve nothing but the best!

When I think about their big day a zillion favorite moments flash through my head, but here are some of the highlights:

Kevin’s. Face. When. He. Sees. Meg. The grin on his face during their first look was incredible enough, but that smile when Meg starts walking down the aisle toward him during their ceremony is one of my favorite images ever (see below!) because JUST LOOK AT HOW HAPPY HE IS.
The numerous times Kevin + Meg broke out into spontaneous 2 person dance parties throughout the day.
Both of their faces every single time they look at each other.
When Kevin’s father joined him and his mom at the end of the mother son dance and the the three of them finished off the dance together in a teary embrace.
Every single piece of decor being FABULOUS. Seriously. I’m not surprised because Meg is a wedding planner, but she is clearly incredible at it and there was’t a single detail that wasn’t perfection. I especially loved the acrylic signage!
