arbor loft rochester wedding: corey + andy

I kicked off wedding season on a beautiful spring day in Rochester earlier this month with Corey & Andy’s big day! I feel like it rained basically every day leading up to their wedding and then every day afterward (please stop raining), so I was thrilled that we had such beautiful weather on the day of. With locations as gorgeous as Chapel Hill and the Arbor Loft, it wouldn’t have been a big deal if we couldn’t be outside, but you probably know that the George Eastman House gardens are my FAVORITE so I’m definitely a happy camper that we got to stop there.

Getting ahead of myself here.. I started the morning off at the Strathallan where Corey and the bridesmaids were getting dolled up by Blush Beauty Bar and looking GORGEOUS. When Corey got into her dress she looked absolutely stunning and I was so excited to capture Andy’s expression when he saw her walking down the aisle toward him. He did not disappoint!! Their whole ceremony was full of smiles and laughter (seriously these two were cracking each other up at the altar so much I wish I could’ve heard their convo) but I think his face at the beginning was my favorite part. Chapel Hil is a stunning space to say your I dos, and it’s actually where my husband and I had our ceremony so it holds an extra special place in my heart! Once they were officially pronounced Mr. + Mrs. we made sure to get some photos that really showed off the gorgeous architecture and stained glass of this venue. Afterward our next stop was the George Eastman House for more photos of the two of them and their bridal party which was such a fun crew! Afterward it was on to the Arbor Loft for the party!

The reception was everything you could hope for – gorgeous décor and details, an absolutely ADORABLE first dance, hilarious speeches, and an epic dance party that was still going strong when it was time for me to head out! Corey & Andy are genuinely wonderful human beings, so this was really a fantastic couple and celebration to start 2019’s wedding season off with! I’m so thankful these two chose me to document it!
