rochester engagement session: hannah & pj

Hannah was one of the very first people I met freshman year at SUNY Geneseo, and I remember thinking "ahhh, what a relief, a kindred spirit!" We had so much in common and I knew right away that it was going to be a beautiful friendship, and she's been one of my closest friends and favorite people ever since! I remember soon after we met, walking with her on campus and sharing stories about our lives until that point, and she told me all about her great boyfriend PJ. Not many people can say they met the love of their life at 16, but here we are almost nine years later, and she and PJ just celebrated their 10th and last pre-married anniversary together! 

Writing this has me thinking about all that Hannah and I have been friends through, the rest of college, first "real" jobs, new cities, lots of ups and downs, being roomies in a few crappy apartments, to now becoming married ladies living in Rochester suburbs, pursuing our passions while still squeezing in as many ladies' nights as possible! (Yes, I'm crying a little) And I realize that with all of that, she and PJ have been through SO much more by each other sides.  They're always there for each other with unconditional love and support, and have the type of relationship everyone wants to be a part of.  Hannah is a vibrant soul, full of passion, which is well balanced with PJ's more calm and collected personality. They're both incredibly kind, intelligent, and fun to hang around! Date nights with them are among my husband and I's favorite activities!
