My favorite time of day is what we photographers often refer to as the “golden hour” or “magic hour” – it’s during the hour or so before sunset (or after sunrise) when the light has a softer and warmer quality that is absolutely beautiful! I always try to schedule sessions during this time, and during wedding days I’m thrilled when circumstances allow me to get some photos of the bride and groom in this light! That is why I was BEYOND excited that Justine + Tom’s wedding ceremony took place outside during the golden hour, on the beach no less! It was so unbelievably gorgeous I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. In fact, EVERYTHING about this wedding was gorgeous -- Justine + Tom themselves, Justine’s beautiful wedding gown, the floral arrangements, the ballroom at the Crescent Beach Club overlooking the water, I could go on and on!

Justine + Tom are a spectacular couple in so many ways. Tom is calm, cool and collected – and has had what friends and family refer to as a life-long lucky streak, which everyone seems to agree helped lead him to Justine. When I think of how to describe Justine the words “ray of sunshine” keep popping into my head; she’s warm and outgoing with a radiant smile and shares her passion for adventure and living life to the fullest with Tom! They share lots of other passions as well, including travel, surfing, and lacrosse! I’m sure these two will live a full and happy life packed with love and adventure, and they deserve nothing less!! Thank you to Justine and Tom for choosing me to capture this spectacular day for you!!
