belhurst castle wedding: carli + matt

Carli and Matt may have only been married for a few weeks now, but their love story goes back much further than that. High School superlatives are always fun to look back on, (woo most artistic right here!) although the class couples are rarely still together for their high school reunions. Carli and Matt however, were voted “Most Likely to get Married,” and on July 9th they did just that! These two had been together for 11 years already on the day they said their I do’s! They actually met in elementary school.. how many couples can say they’ve known each other since their hobbies included playing on playgrounds?!

They got engaged on their tenth anniversary, and set the ball rolling on this new chapter in their lives together! Their wedding was on a beautiful afternoon at Belhurst Castle, a gorgeous venue and winery on Seneca Lake! I feel so lucky to live so close to the Finger Lakes with all of their breathtaking scenery, and Belhurst is definitely one of my favorite locations in the area! You really can’t beat the outdoor ceremonies there, with the castle on one side, Seneca Lake on the other.

The cloudy skies brought some relief from these crazy high temperatures we’ve been having, and set the scene for some wonderful photo opportunities! Carli and Matt shared a First Look before their ceremony, which gave us plenty of time to really take advantage of everything Belhurst Castle has to offer. I had so much fun photographing these two, as well as their friends and family!
