burgundy basin wedding: molly + mike

So excited to introduce another one of the wonderful couples whose weddings I photographed last month; Mike and Molly! These two met in middle school, started dating in high school, and have been constant sources of support for each other ever since through higher education, new jobs and cities, and anything else life has thrown at them!

What started off as a rainy morning turned into a beautiful October day here in Rochester for their wedding! Molly and Mike said their I do’s at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Greece, and I loved seeing the pure joy on their faces after they were officially pronounced Mr. & Mrs! Afterward, we stopped at Highland Park for photos of the newlyweds, and their bridal party. The light and weather were absolutely perfect!

Our next and last stop was the Burgundy Basin for the reception! After a few photos on the canal (which there’s a convenient access point to right next to the venue), Mike and Molly joined in their cocktail hour to celebrate with their loved ones! The staff at the Burgundy Basin always does a fantastic job so it was no surprise what a great event this was – so happy I got to capture this spectacular day, with the help of the talented Diana Kapatos who second shot this one with me!
