Bridget and Andy didn’t have much interest in an engagement session when they first booked me to be their wedding photographer, but after reading my blog post ”Why do an engagement session?” they decided to go for it! I was obviously thrilled that my blog post was getting through to people, and that I’d have a chance to get to know this couple a little better and take some photos of them before their wedding later this summer.
Highland Park in Rochester is a gorgeous location, and we thought it would be especially perfect this time of year with all of the various flowers in bloom there. Bridget and Andy didn’t want to leave out the third member of their family, Buckley, the dog they adopted from Lollipop Farm a few years ago (which is a fantastic organization if you're looking for a pet!). Buckley is pretty much exactly what I picture my future dog to look like – you can see how adorable he is in the photos below!
After we said goodbye to Buckley (thank you to Bridget’s mom for bringing him to the park and back!) we strolled around enjoying the beautiful day and taking advantage of all the beautiful scenery Highland Park has to offer. Then we headed to our second location, Corn Hill Landing, which is a really neat area of Rochester along the Genesee River with a great view of downtown.
I’m so grateful that I consistently get to meet and work with such awesome clients! Bridget and Andy are a ton of fun and have great senses of humor, so I'm really glad I got to get to know them better. I cannot wait for their wedding in July - I know it's going to be spectacular! Take a look below to get a glimpse of this fun session!
