Victoria and Nick decided to start the New Year with a new chapter in their lives together, and tied the knot on New Year’s Eve. Their ceremony was at St. John the Evangelist, an absolutely stunning church in Schenectady. After capturing some photos in front of the altar there, Victoria and Nick headed to the downtown area along with their bridal party for some more pictures. Since they wanted to keep their celebration going after midnight to bring in the New Year with all of their guests, along with the early sunset this time of year, most of the photos we did outside were after dark. Jay St. (a cute little pedestrian street in downtown Schenectady) was pretty well-lit with street lanterns and holiday lights so we thought this would be the best place for their photos. This group was probably having the most fun of any bridal party I’ve ever photographed – which is especially impressive since it was freezing out!
The reception was right across from Jay Street at Key Hall at Proctors, who did a fantastic job with the event. This was the perfect crew for a New Year’s Eve wedding – everyone was thrilled to be there and start off 2015 celebrating the marriage of Victoria and Nick! It was clear how much they are loved and appreciated by all their friends and family, and vice versa – I’m really glad I got to be a part of this one! Thank you to Victoria and Nick for choosing me as your photographer – I wish you the very best! Enjoy the photos!
